I think its fascinating the way these people sings and plays instruments like the drums, their rhythm is extraordinary and although we can see that they are very humble people, I consider that they have such a nice way of life living through the music

The use of English is very evident and strategic in those videos because through the English teaches to English speakers about the holidays in places like Peru and Thailand. Personally in the moment I saw the videos I wished to be there in those places with Those funny activities.

sport, hobby, or music that has shaped My own personal culture

I do not practice any sport in particular but, I do have a lot of hobby's that has shaped my personality like watch movies, I love watch movies, specially horror ones. I also love music, electro, specifically. Probably that's because I'm so anxious sometimes haha.
Another one of my hobby's it's the food, I love to cook, and to try different and new recipes that I found on Internet. My favorite one's are the Italian's and the Asians. This taste for food made me become a Friday night at home guy haha. On my free time I like to stay at home, watch some horror films and cook for myself.

Response to the video about racism

i think that although we are in pretty modern times the racism still is a non-solved problem today, apparently afros  in colombia and in so many parts of the world are still suffering some of the ills that they had suffered for so many time, equality must be complete! here is the trailer of one of my favorite movies, based on a bestseller, it´s about racism in the 60´s, called "the help" if you have never seen it, you guys must do it, it´s really good

I was not here during the Carnival this year, but my favorite moments always happen during El Garabato and El Festival de la Cerveza. To these events i usually go with my best friends, every year we had lots of fun and good memories.

Hi!, Im Sergio Moncada, student of Social Communication and Journalism at the Universidad del Norte, im 21 years, my birthplace is Barranquilla, Colombia and i still live in this gorgeous city, im the oldest of 5 brothers, im a common guy, i love to hang out with my friends, i like to party too, but i also love to being with my family and hang out with them. I absolutely love the music and the movies, im a "iTunesholic", also im a fan of mac/apple, God Bless Steve Jobs! I adore Mexican, Italian, Asian, Colombian, Arabic, French and so on food. I love everything about Russia, my biggest dream is to live there. My favorite authors are Jhon Boyne and Steve Berry, i love hot chicks, im single and proud and this is it, this is basically who i am.

Anwers to 1. Why was Barranquilla chosen? and 2. Will Barranquilla receive any of the economic benefits Liverpool hoped to from being named a cultural capital?

1. Barranquilla was chosen cause the president of the bureau entity came here and was impressed by the city and the cohesion around the culture theme, but especially with all the positivism that the citizens have and the international projection that the city have.

2. They wil receive economic benefits cause with this recognition the city will be promoted internationally through the agreements that bureau have with the Antena 3 and Discovery Networks channels. Apart from this, this recognition coincides with the celebration of the 200 years of the city of Barranquilla.
